I bought this product for my son, he loves it. I like it because unlike the tony hawk skateboard, this won’t breakdown, because you attach it to the wii fit balance board.

The skateboard looks nice, fits well on the balance board and feels good to stand on. It works well with the Wii Fit snowboarding minigame. However, it seems like the maker just assumed that it would work well with any skate/snowboard game that uses the Wii balance board. It certainly mimics all the realistic control elements of steering a board. The problem is that not all games stick to realistic controls. For example, Shaun White requires the player to concentrate their balance on opposite corners of the board in order to do tricks, and because the skateboard piece does not bend, this is impossible. So playing Shaun White feels nice on the skateboard, but you can’t do tricks and ultimately can’t play the game if your intent is to win and advance. I haven’t played it with any other games so I can’t say how well it works, but it may not allow you to perform all the necessary controlling actions, and it does not seem as though the maker accounted for this at all.
