Customer Review: Either re-order a stock pedal or get a different one… this one’s bad.
My Rock Band 2 kick pedal had broke completely in half (what I get for buying a used kit), so I decided to buy this pedal at my local Best Buy. At first, I was only slightly disappointed it didn’t come with the splitter that it said it came with. No biggie, I already owned a splitter.
I set the pedal up and was all ready to zip away on some Rock Band 2. Immediately, the kick pedal didn’t respond at all. I went to Freestyle mode and played with the switch. Each time I switched modes, it responded as if I had hit the pedal. Still though, even as I pound the pedal it does nothing.
Angrily I call Nyko, and to make a long story short, the guy said it was basically defective and to exchange it for another one. NO WAY! I exchanged it for the Block Head Rhythm Maker Professional Drum Pedal. I wish that pedal was available on Amazon, I’d write a glowing review for that pedal.
This one’s a waste of perfectly good money. If you need a new pedal, go with the Block Head pedal. It may be $32 but it’s way better than this piece of junk.
Customer Review: Another Defective Product
I ordered this product for my Xbox 360 Rock Band 2 drum set. It seemed like a good, sturdy pedal out of the box. However, it was totally defective and did not register any hits. Nyko needs better testing on their products. From reading other reviews, this seems to be fairly common. Be prepared to ship this back.
