I got this as a gift for my husband’s birthday, and it was a huge success. I love that the whole family can get involved. It’s easy enough that the three of us could figure it out without a manual. And the token earning system is like Wii Fit for music.

Bought the Wii Special Edition.
Great game! Interface is intuitive, set up was a breeze, including synchronizing instruments to the music and sound.
Songs and gameplay are good - love the graphics during each song and special bonuses for completing songs with a high score (special photos and videos of the Beatles!). I was too young to be alive during Beatlemania, but this game gives a glimpse on what the craze was about!
Requires latest Wii updates and store channel.
Haven’t tried online gameplay and the store has no new music yet, but I can’t wait!

Who doesn’t love the Beatles. This game was so well thought out, including snippits of conversation from recording sessions, great graphics, and rare photos and video. We have played with friends a few times and gotten so into it that we had to keep playing until we finished the game! I do think some of the songs are easier than other Rock Band songs, but that is helping me to work up to expert level in this game and then go back to Rock Band 2 at a higher level. The best part is that there isn’t a song that I don’t know or don’t want to play. I can’t wait for downloadable content.

What’s not to like - this is a great version of Rock Band - we know all the songs (which makes it easier to sing to) and it has the band pieces that you need. Big hit in my house with the young and the (somewhat) older.
